I strive to build rapport and provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for self-exploration and recognizing inner strength. I offer support and counseling services to identify effective coping skills and techniques essential to emotional wellness, healthy living, and quality relationships.
Clients that work with me are usually requesting help with managing depression, anxiety, relationships, low self esteem or confidence and life transitions.
My experience includes providing community-based mental health counseling to children and adolescents, crisis intervention and working with adults in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting.
My style of practice is compassionate and collaborative, utilizing a person-centered approach. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has been effective in helping clients to see the connection between thoughts and emotions to have better outcomes.
